The Fantom Sirolimus-Eluting Bioresorbable Coronary Scaffold combines the trusted anti-proliferative drug, Sirolimus, with Tyrocore™, REVA’s new proprietary polymer, to make the world’s first radiopaque bioresorbable scaffold for percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Fantom is designed to simplify deployment, restore blood flow, support the artery through the healing process, and then disappear (or “resorb”) from the body. This resorption is intended to allow the return of vasomotion, or natural movement and function, to the artery.
1st and Only Radiopaque BRS
Fantom is the first and only radiopaque bioresorbable scaffold, meaning that it is x-ray visible. Fantom is made with Tyrocore, REVA’s proprietary tyrosine derived polymer, which is specifically designed for vascular scaffolds.
